Dancing Deer Baking

I’m a born and bred Bostonian, so living with Curse of the Bambino was part of my DNA. It had been 86 years without a win for the Red Sox, but I had a feeling this season would be different. It was Boston’s year we were hosting the DNC. I was a VP of branded content at the coolest ad agency in town. We had a client, Dancing Deer Baking, who had a miniscule budget but wanted to be noticed especially with all the national media in town. For $500 bucks I gave Dancing Deer a new label and mission by introducing the Break the Curse Cookie….Believe in Boston. A shaman, rabbi, and priest gathered outside Fenway Park to bless the batter on opening day and cover all bases. The cookie was featured everywhere…and months later the Red Sox won the World Series. Boston, you are welcome.
