Healthy Child Healthy World

As a founding board member and chair of Healthy Child Healthy World, I conceived and produced an award-winning video to educate parents on creating healthy homes. This national environmental nonprofit was created in 1992, and the video Not Under My Roof, starring Olivia Newton-John and Kelly Preston, received a parents’ choice award. Following the success of this video, I packaged the book Healthy Child, Healthy World. Our Executive Director went on to found the Honest Company. It a such a source of satisfaction to see how the message of raising kids in non-toxic environments is now, after 20 years, a mainstream movement.
